The Royal Irrigation Department continues the 2025 labor employment project to help farmers in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, hoping to help farmers nationwide. The goal is to hire more than 84,000 farmers to generate income.
Mr. Suriyapol Nuchanong, Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department, revealed that according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' policy to help farmers nationwide to have additional income by hiring irrigation workers in the fiscal year 2025, there is a plan to hire 84,716 workers for a period of 12 months (October 2024 - September 2025). Currently, 18,914 workers have been hired nationwide, or approximately 22 percent of the plan.
